Mia Adora Eyelash Curler Review

Mia Adora eyelash curler in boxMia Adora out of box

I am the first one to admit that I have zero experience with eyelash curlers. In fact, in order to use this product,  I had to scour a few Youtube videos for tips on how to use them.  For the most part, mascara seems to do the trick for me, but I think it was time this old dog learned a new trick.

I was sent this eyelash curler from Mia Adora for review. As you can see, it comes in what I would call a collapsible plastic box.  I am not sure if it was the fault of Amazon or the company, but when it arrived to me, the box was opened and the plastic rings were out of the box and the clip was off of the handles. Other than that, it luckily arrived to me in fine condition. I am assuming the two plastic rings are replacement grips for the handles.

After arming myself with some Youtube tutorials fresh in my mind, I grabbed my makeup mirror and threw it onto the 5X magnification side.  I have no idea what I have been afraid of all this time. These curlers set comfortably against my cheekbone as I clamped down onto my lashes. I held them in place for about 15 seconds. I repeated the process. I really like the fact that these are spring loaded, so that there is no way that you could accidentally pull away from your lid and yank out your eyelashes .

Technology has not been my friend today, but here is a picture I took off of my tablet showing you my results:

Sorry for the strange angle, I know my nose seems incredibly wide.  I think they curled my lashes very well, this is obviously with no mascara or other eye makeup on whatsoever.  I believe this is a quality product, that just needs to work on its packaging a bit.

They are available on Amazon for the retail cost of 11.95.  Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Blowout-SALE-Precision-Eyelashes-Extended/dp/B00QF6HHTK/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1431118908&sr=1-1&keywords=eyelash+curler+mia+adora

Soap.Club Review

soap in boxes

I received these two luscious bars of soap for review from Soap.Club This company takes great pride in their premium quality hand made soaps. They are aged up to six weeks and made with only fresh, pure ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, organic shea butter, water and their unique essential oil blends. They carry over 70 varieties , so there is a fragrance for everyone. As I stated before, they are made by hand, starting from stirring every recipe, cutting the bars and packaging each individual item. They are made in the U.S.A.

I was initially supposed to only receive one bar, because they were concerned that the one I ordered was not up to their standards. Each bar was just fine, one was a bit more heavily scented was the only difference in quality that I could tell.

The scents I received were : Black Raspberry/ Vanilla Sweet n’ Sour and Pomegranate Cherry/Crimson Crush. There is a band at the top of each soap marking off the different scents.

I was very impressed with the packaging right from the start. Each arrived in their own sturdy white cardboard box, and were wrapped in bubble wrap envelopes. Inside those is where you find the soaps in their boxes with a little peekaboo at the top bar.

My first experience was to try the Pomegranate Cherry/Crimson Crush just to shave my legs sitting on the edge of the tub. I noticed when just a little bit of water was added, it turned into a creamy lotion, and was nothing like any bar soap I have ever tried. The aroma was heavenly, it seems there was the scent of almonds as well in this one. It was a very pleasant aromatherapy experience. My skin felt so soft and moisturized after, that I felt no need to apply moisturizer.

I used the second bar for a complete shower. It lathered beautifully as well, and really can replace a shaving cream if needed. The only issue I had was the width of the soap, I seemed to keep dropping it, blame my small hands. It never crumbled once though, no matter how many times it was dropped in my tub and also emitted a delightful scent. Normally I am a body wash person, but after experiencing these, I may have to switch over , as they are such a lovely pampering product.

Apparently, you can become a member of their soap.club on a monthly basis. I recieved mine from Amazon, but here is the link to their website. It appears they will even send samples for free, and all shipping is free as well. https://soap.club/

If you are looking for a luxurious bathing or showering experience, I think you will be happy with these delightful soaps and their awesome fragrances. It is also a plus that they are completely all natural, so you don’t have to worry about sulfates or other nasty things on your skin.
